JOUR 4: CARDIFF

Welcome to Romain’s blog!

Hello everybody, what’s up ?

I’m just back from a school trip in GB… Let me tell you about the visit of Cardiff.

So on the fourth day we were in …  WALES and we didn’t play rugby but one of us bought a rugby ball .

Then guess what ! The weather was clear ! We saw the sun ! It was so amazing !

Moreover, we were next to the sea because we were in … Cardiff the most beautiful city in Great Britain for me ! And do you think we visited Cardiff pubs? No, we didn’t ! We visited Cardiff Castle !

Imagine a castle in the middle of Cardiff . It was so large and it has been renovated . We saw many rooms and all of them had a story .

But let me tell you about the main room . It was a banquet room and a meeting room where Barack Obama and other international leaders has been invited for an important meeting. But it wasn’t all . We also saw the terrific and dark donjon ! Bouuuuh !

And finally we ate in the garden of the castle . We had our packed lunch . And after that we went shopping in Cardiff and before getting on the bus we saw the most fantastic, the largest, the most beautiful stadium ever… THE MILLENIUM STADIUM !!!

And the next day we visited Christ Church and Oxford … But this will be in another blog!

Hello everybody !

I am now back home after a week in England. Today, I’m going to tell you about the Selfie Challenge we had in Cardiff on 27th April.

Before we began, Mrs Pflimlin gave us the instructions. We had to take five selfies: one selfie with one member of the royal family, one selfie with a jar of marmite, one selfie in front of Primark, one selfie with a policeman or a student and finally one selfie in front of a clock. We had one hour. Margot, Melike, Lucie and I were a team. We took all the selfies, except one, the selfie with a policeman or a sudent. We saw many security guards but we didn’t find a policeman. So , we decided to take a selfie with a security guard, we were very disappointed. After that, we decided to go shopping because we finished half an hour early. Then, guess what ! After we did some shopping, in a beauty shop we saw a policeman ! We ran to him and asked him if we could take a selfie with him. Finally, he accepted and we took a selfie all together. We were very happy. It was so funny.

Unfortunately, we weren’t the winners of the Selfie Challenge because one team had a selfie with a student.

Welcome to Amandyne’s blog

I am now back home after a few days in England with my European class. We had an amazing trip !

On Wednesday, we went to Cardiff. In the afternoon, we had free-time to go shopping and we organized a  Selfie Challenge !

We had one hour to take five selfies. Each photos had a particular theme:

– The first picture had to be taken with a marmite jar.

-The second photo had to be taken in front of the shop PRIMARK.

-The third photo had to be taken with a student wearing a school uniform or a policeman.

-The fourth photo had to be taken with the photo of a member of the Royal Family.

-The fifth photo had to be taken with a clock.

This afternoon was my favorite one during the trip. I had a great afternoon even if it was raining!
